Our work is vital to ensure that young carers and their families get the best support, and that young carers can have the same opportunities and prospects as their peers. If you’d like to support us in this important work, there are many ways to help.
Volunteering is a great way to give something back to the community, and you can boost your own skills at the same time. We’re looking for volunteers to help in aspects of our work, including helping out at events for young carers. To find out more about volunteering with us, visit us here
Anyone can help us fundraise; you don’t need experience or a ground-breaking new idea, just time and enthusiasm. You can fundraise by yourself or with friends – for example: You could participate in a sponsored walk or sell your own crafts. Your business or organisation could also fundraise for us.
For ideas, inspiration or to find out more about fundraising for us, check out our fundraising resources . Alternatively, get in touch with the fundraising team on 01992 58 69 69 or email firstname.lastname@example.org – we’d love to hear from you!
Your generous donations are an essential part of helping us make life better for young people in Hertfordshire providing unpaid care to someone who is ill, disabled, frail, elderly or who misuses drugs or alcohol. Carers in Hertfordshire is a charity and the advice, training and support we give to carers is provided free to them, which is why we rely on the contributions of supporters to help us continue our vital work.
Any donation, however large or small, can really help us make a difference to carers who need our support.
You could support our work with a regular or one-off donation to Carers in Hertfordshire with your credit or debit card using our VirginMoneyGiving Page
